CHRIS HUMPHREYS - LYNBROOK STUD

Dwarf Lops have always  played a big part at Lynbrook and there are some really super examples of the breed here today.

`ATLAS` a beautiful Agouti by Seb is a force to be reckoned with in the show pen. He is an excellent colour and carries all his Seb`s characteristics including a terrific width of muzzle and strong bone. This photo is taken of him at 5& 1/2 months old. The first time he was shown  at just under 5 months  he excelled himself by going best Lop & Reserve Best in Show at Anglesey  August 2007. This was followed up  by him  finishing 2nd in the u/5  Lop Challange at the Mid Somerset show  4 days later.   He is a tremendous character and a pleasure to own.

He has since gone from strength to strength wining many Best of Breeds and Best Lops gaining his National French & Dwarf Lop Championship, BRC Silver Star, Treble BRC Championship , & Double Gold star Diplomas as well as  having the distinction of being the VERY FIRST GRAND CHAMPION  registered with the Welsh Lop Circle.

His  wins include Best in Show at the Anglesey & Machen Welsh Lop Circle shows & the CC at London 2008. He went on to win 4th best of Breed and won the Guardsman Gamble stakes for the Adult Lop section.

Just look at that expression.

.

This is ATLAS today.   In this 2nd  photo (not the best picture of him by a long way) I have included it to show the tremendous limbs this fellow has - short & strong set in massive, muscular  shoulders.

Just look at this  head & crown.

Double Champion  LITTLE RASCAL as can be seen on the  Latest news page has  gained his Double BRC Championship and a Gold Star Diploma.  Rascal at 7.5 months old won Best In Show at the NF&DLRC adult stock show at Walsall 2008 & went on to win at London. Since then has won many Best of Breeds and Best Lop awards. He revels in the shows atmosphere and is a real show off & a great licker much to everyone`s amusement.

At home, he is a grand little fellow, a joy to own being a clean little rabbit and so very friendly. Greatly loved & admired by  all who visit Lynbrook.

A son of Champion Little Rascal  - Deadrite has started his show career in fine form taking the CC at Bradford this year 2010.

ALEXIS is a sweet young doe at Lynbrook . She is a beautiful, typed doe with a lovely coat, head & ears. She will be an invaluable brood doe  and some of her youngsters can be seen  on the `Young Ones page,

Lynbrook has taken on board a very nice young good coated  Agouti doe  who is currently nursing a litter  by Deadrite. DANIELLE is a lovely little Red Agouti doe. Excellent type, head & wide, wellshaped ears. A lovely natured, chunky young doe  of superb colour and banding. She will be shown  until  she is old enough to breed and I have high hopes for her. She has a lovely nature and is extremely inquisitive.

SPARKLE a sweet natured Chin doe has also joined Lynbrook. She is an excellent mum and currently nursing a litter  by Bilbo Baggins. These youngsters can also be seen on the `Young Ones ` page. She is a very laid back doe of superb type and colour. Lovely head and ears and chunky limbs. She  loves plenty of fuss & titbits.

Little  Nell is a  sweet REW Dwarf Lop doe who is currently nursing a litter of 2 to Ch Atlas. These can be seen on the `Young Ones` page also.

Meet BERTIE WOOSTER. a Sooty buck with tremendous presence and character. A massive skull , excellent type, coat & colour he will soon be making his mark in the show pen.

Last, but certainly not least is a wonderful character Belbo Baggins  a Black Otter.  NOBODY ignores him. He posts mouthfulls of straw through his wire and certainly makes his presence felt until the front is off his hutch. He absolutely adores fuss & like all  the others gets plenty of it. He is moulty at pesent but as you can see his face is full of character. He actually managed to sit still for as long as it look to take  his photo - MOST unusual.

Some of his offspring can be seen on the `Youngsters`  page.
